MARTY'S SPAGHETTI AND MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. minced onion
1 c. bread crumbs
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 egg
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt & pepper

Mix ingredients in a bowl. Shape into small balls and place in a single layer in a large baking pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

SAUCE:

1 c. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 c. water
1 tsp. thyme
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. chopped parsley
Salt & pepper
