LEBKUCHEN 
1 c. honey
1/2 c. strong coffee
1 c. cream
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. crushed anise seed
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. flour (approx.)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the honey with the coffee, cream, sugar and spices. Add flour which has been sifted with baking powder and baking soda. Beat until smooth. The dough should be sticky.

Turn batter into a well buttered 15x11x1 inch jelly roll pan. Spread batter evenly and into corners. The dough should be 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Serve with whipped cream for a real "Swiss" dessert.
