CABBAGE ROLLS
10-12 lg. cabbage leaves
1 lb. (more or less) meat loaf mixture
3/4 c. cooked rice
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. minced onion
2/3 c. milk
1 (15-16 oz.) can tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Immerse cabbage leaves in boiling water for about 3 minutes or just until limp; drain. Combine meat loaf mixture with cooked rice and next 6 ingredients. Blend thoroughly and place about 1/2 cup meat mixture on base of each leaf. Fold in sides and roll ends over meat to form a "package". Place, seam side down, in shallow baking pan. Blend together the tomatoes, brown sugar, and lemon; pour over cabbage rolls. Sprinkle with a few oregano or sweet basil leaves (optional). Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
