BEEF BRAISED IN SOUR CREAM | |
3 1/2-4 lb. chuck roast 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/2 c. real butter 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 pt. whipping cream (not whipped) 3/4 tsp. black pepper 3 cloves garlic, minced Roast chuck until tender; cool and slice. Make sauce of rest of ingredients and boil for three minutes. Pour half of sauce in baking dish (9 x 13 inches) and place slices of meat in pan and pour rest of sauce over meat. Bake in 400 degrees oven for 15 minutes. |
