BEEF IN SOUR CREAM 
4 slices bacon, diced
2 lbs. stew meat, cut 1" cubes
2 lg. onions, diced & chopped
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
Salt & pepper
1 pt. sour cream
3/4 c. white wine

Brown bacon; set aside. Add beef and brown, add onion and garlic and cook. Add salt and pepper and wine, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. (You may have to add a little water if it becomes dry.) Skim off any excess fat, slowly stir in sour cream, heat gently. Serve with either wild or white rice or noodles.
