1 lb. ground meat 2 sm. onions, chopped 2 buttons garlic or (1/2 tsp. garlic season all) 1 green pepper, chopped 1 tbsp. shortening 3 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. red pepper 1 tsp. black pepper 1 can tomatoes 1 sm. can peas 1 can Mexi-corn 1 can mushrooms (optional) 1 lb. spaghetti 1 c. water Salt 2 c. grated cheese on top Brown ground meat. Slowly add next 8 ingredients, cover and let simmer until spaghetti is done. Cook spaghetti, drain off juice and save to add later. Add remaining ingredients (except water) to ground meat mixture. Add vegetable juices as needed for moisture. Place in casserole(s), mix and add water. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour. |
