2 (16 oz.) cans sauerkraut 2 tbsp. 1000 Island Dressing 1 (10 oz.) thinly sliced turkey pastrami, cut in 1 inch pieces 3 tbsp. honey mustard sauce 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1 can (10 count) refrigerated biscuits 1 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. caraway seeds Drain sauerkraut, rinse with cold water and drain again. Pat dry with paper towels. Stir in salad dressing and spread in a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Layer pastrami and spread. Sprinkle with cheese. Flatten each biscuit to 3 to 4 inches in diameter and cut in half, then arrange over casserole. Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter, sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden. Serves 6. |
