FUDGE BALL COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 sqs. (1 1/2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Confectioners' sugar

Melt butter with chocolate in saucepan over low heat; cool. Add sugar, egg, vanilla and salt; mix thoroughly. Stir in flour. Shape into balls, using a teaspoon for each. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until delicately browned on bottom. While warm, roll in confectioners' sugar.
