1 c. butter
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 tbsp. colored sugar (red and green)
4 tbsp. powdered sugar

Cream butter and 4 tablespoon sugar, add vanilla, then flour, and then nuts. Roll dough into small balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Mix colored sugar with powdered sugar. Roll cookie balls in sugar mixture while still hot. Makes 40.
