STONE SOUP IRISH BREAD 
Set aside in large bowl:

5 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream and add to dry ingredients:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Add and mix with spoon:

3 c. sour milk

Fold in:

1 1/2 c. raisins
2 tbsp. caraway seeds

Bake in a large black frying pan and a smaller one. Brush top with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar. Cut in cross on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes and 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
