LASAGNE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef or pork sausage
2 c. tomato sauce (1 15-oz. can)
1/2 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni, cooked and drained
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. water

Brown meat, drain. Add tomato sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, basil and 1/2 cup water. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a 2-quart casserole, layer half of each macaroni, cottage cheese, shredded Mozzarella and meat sauce. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
