LASAGNA CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 lb. box wide noodles, not lasagna 4 med. chopped onions 4 green peppers, chopped 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tsp. oregano 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 c. cottage cheese 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 pt. jar spaghetti sauce 2 (8 oz.) jars tomato sauce Cook noodles and drain. Brown ground beef and drain fat. Saute vegetables. Beat cheese, sour cream and soup together. Layer in 2 (9"x13") baking dishes; cheese mixture first, beef, noodles and vegetables. Mix together spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce and spread over all. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 16. Freezes very well. |
