A GREAT LASAGNE CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lb. ground meat
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. Pace picante sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked
1/2 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese
1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Saute meat and garlic in oil. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes. Fill a large buttered casserole with alternate layers of noodles, cottage cheese, tomato-meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese, and ending with a layer of sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve additional Pace picante sauce and Parmesan cheese as condiments. Serves 6 to 8.
