3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 cups cold water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. vanilla

Preheat oven 350°F.

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add cold water, vegetable oil, vinegar and vanilla. Stir only with a fork or spoon until mixed and no large lumps are seen. Do not beat. Pour into a 9x13-inch baking pan. Do NOT grease or flour pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done.

Very good by itself or with your favorite frosting.
