BOURBON BALLS
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 c. bourbon
1 c. chopped pecans
4 (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
4 dozen pecan halves

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add bourbon; beat until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans. Shape into 1- inch balls; cover and chill 8 hours.

Combine chocolate squares in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and cook until chocolate melts, stirring often. Dip bourbon balls in chocolate; place on waxed paper, and gently press a pecan half on top of each. Chill until chocolate hardens. Yield: 4 dozen
