BOURBON CAKE BALLS | |
3/4 cups finely chopped pecans 1/4 cup bourbon 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/2 tablespoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt 7 oz can sweetened condensed milk 1 lb plus 1 cup of powdered sugar 1 pkg (16oz) chocolate CANDIQUIK Soak pecans in bourbon for several hours for best flavor. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, vanilla, and salt - should be fluffy. Slowly beat in sweetened condensed milk. Stir in pecan mix and powdered sugar - blend well. Form the dough into 1-inch balls, and roll each ball in sugar. Place the finished bourbon balls on a cooling rack to finish setting up. Melt CANDIQUIK according to directions on package, dip the bourbon balls and coat evenly, using either a spoon or toothpick. Allow to dry on wax paper. Submitted by: Miss CANDIQUIK |
