BOURBON BALLS 
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. bourbon or rum
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Sift cocoa and sugar into bowl. Stir in bourbon, which has been mixed with syrup. Mix well; add crumbs and nuts. Mix well again. roll into small balls. Drop into powdered sugar; roll to coat. Allow to dry a day or so before using. Freezes well.

Makes 3 dozen balls.

Triple recipe for 50 people.
