PIEPLANT CRISP 
3 c. rhubarb, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. mace
2/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Mix rhubarb, sugar, egg, mace and 2 tablespoons flour. Spread in deep glass or pottery pie plate. Mix brown sugar, butter and 2/3 cup flour, work until crumbly. Press mixture over rhubarb in pie plate to form "top crust". Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with or without cream.

Serves 4.
