OH SO EASY TAMALE PIE | |
1 onion, chopped 1 lb. ground beef, lean 2 tbsp. butter 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 1 (17 oz.) can whole corn, undrained 1 c. sour cream 1 c. cornmeal 1 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. cumin 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can sliced black olives 2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. MSG (Accent) 2 c. Jack cheese, shredded In a 10 to 12 inch skillet with cover, melt butter. Add onion and meat; cook until browned. Add tomatoes, corn with liquid, sour cream, cornmeal, olives and seasonings; mix well. Top with shredded cheese, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serves 6-8. |
