CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked diced chicken
1 c. finely sliced celery
1/2 can sliced water chestnuts
1/3 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. garlic cheese Italian dressing (Good Seasons)
1 tbsp. grated onion
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or Swiss cheese
Chinese noodles for topping, if desired

Mix first 7 ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch baking dish. If doubling the recipe, use a 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with cheese and Chinese noodles. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes for a single recipe and 20 to 25 minutes for a double recipe.

This recipe can be easily prepared ahead of time or even the day before. Keep refrigerated until ready to bake. Bake 20 to 25 minutes for a single recipe and 25 to 30 minutes for a double recipe if you have refrigerated the mixture.

Fruited Jello salad and rolls or tomato salad and rice make a nice accompaniment with this dish. Makes a great luncheon meal. Perfect for showers, too!

Single recipe serves 4. Double recipe serves 8.
