ITALIAN PORK CHOPS
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
5 tbsp. olive oil
2 c. tomato puree
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash white pepper
5 tbsp. red wine
2 lbs. pork chops (5 approximately, 6 oz. each)
12 oz. pkg. mostaccioli noodles
4 slices American cheese (white and yellow, cut into strips)

Saute chopped garlic in olive oil until light golden, using low heat. Add tomato puree, chopped parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red wine. Stir frequently, simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Keep warm. In between time, broil pork chops to your liking. Cook mostaccioli, using the package directions. When sauce is ready, pour half into a shallow pan, place pork chops on top of sauce and decorate with strips of American cheese. Return to 350 degree oven until cheese is melted. Serve pork chops with mostaccioli topped with remaining sauce. Makes 5 servings.
