CHEESE POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 c. cooked potatoes, diced
2 c. (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten
Pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

In buttered shallow 2-quart casserole dish, layer half the potatoes and half the cheese; repeat layers. In a bowl, combine egg, milk, salt and nutmeg. Pour egg mixture over potatoes and cheese. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Yield 6 to 8 servings.
