CHEESE-POTATO CASSEROLE 
4 lg. potatoes (salt and pepper to taste)
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
3 slices American process cheese
1/3 c. milk

Peel the potatoes and slice thin. Cook in boiling water for about 15 minutes or until almost done, then drain. Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole and add salt and pepper. Dot with butter.

Cut the cheese in strips and place over potatoes. Pour milk over all and cover casserole. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes longer or until brown.
