JACK HORNERS 
2 cup recipe for baking powder biscuits or canned refrigerator biscuits
6 to 8 small purple plums
whipped cream, Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream

Prepare biscuit dough according to package directions or use tubed refrigerator biscuits or prepare homemade.

Roll out biscuit dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into 4 inch squares or rounds.

Prepare plums by removing pits. Skins may be removed, if desired, by dipping plums into boiling water for 1 or 2 minutes, but this is optional.

Dust plums lightly with sugar. Fill center with whipped cream or ice cream.

Place plum into the center of the biscuit and wrap and pinch shut.

Bake in a preheated 425 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 6 to 8.

May be served with a fruit sauce or ice cream or drizzle with a little melted butter and maple syrup.
