MICROWAVE SCALLOPED POTATOES 
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients except butter in a 4 cup glass measuring cup until smooth. Add butter and microwave 3 minutes. Stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

1/2 tsp. salt
4 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
2 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients above including the above mixture into the 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Microwave for 9 minutes. Stir the potato mixture. Cover and cook for 9-11 more minutes until potatoes are tender. Top with sprinkled cheese.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
