BANANA SPLIT 
1 c. rolled graham crackers
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Bring chocolate chips, milk, butter and powdered sugar to boil for 8 minutes, then add 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Cool for 1 hour. Melt 3 tablespoon butter and mix with crumbs, put into a 13 x 9 pan. Slice bananas over crumbs and freeze about 1 hour. Then put ice cream on this and freeze again until hard. After frozen put on cool chocolate sauce and chopped nuts and freeze again. After this is frozen put on Cool Whip (as much as you want) and freeze this. Top with maraschino cherries.
