SCROOGES BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
1 heaping c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
2 c. 100% Nabisco Bran
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran

Pour boiling water over Nabisco Bran, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, buttermilk and scalded bran. Mix together the flour, soda and salt. Add these 2 mixtures together. Fold in the 4 cups Kellogg's All Bran until moist. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 20-25 minutes. Makes 5 dozen muffins. Batter keeps 4 weeks in refrigerator.
