BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 100% Nabisco Bran
1 c. Crisco
3 c. white sugar
4 beaten eggs
4 c. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
5 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg All - Bran

Combine water and cereal; set aside. Cream Crisco and sugar together. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk and scalded cereal. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Mix with 4 cups Kellogg All - Bran. Add dry ingredients to first mixture. Bake in greased muffin tins 20 minutes at 400 degrees. This recipe makes 1 gallon of batter, but don't get excited, it keeps in the refrigerator for 6 weeks. Store in an air - tight container; just stir the top of mixture, drop in muffin tins and place the remainder back in refrigerator.
