KIELBASA AND CHEESE LOAF | |
3/4 c. warm water 1 pkg. hot roll mix 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese 1/2 c. cooked kielbasa, finely chopped 1/4 c. butter, melted Pour water into medium bowl. Sprinkle yeast from roll mix over water. Stir until dissolved. Add egg. Mix well. Blend in flour from roll mix, Swiss cheese, and Kielbasa. Blend until all ingredients are combined and form sticky dough ball. Cover; let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 45 minutes. Punch down dough. Work dough on floured surface to form oblong roll. Place on greased baking sheet. Cover loosely; let rise in warm place until double in size (30 minutes). Brush top of loaf with melted butter. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven 30 minutes until golden. Remove from oven. |
