PEAR HONEY 
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
9 c. pears, peeled, cored and chopped
Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
5 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. Sure-Jel

To prepare pears, run through food grinder, or food processor. Combine pears and pineapple. Add juice and rind of the lemon. Add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring often, until clear and begins to thicken. Add Sure-Jel. Pack in sterile jars. Give water bath for 10 minutes (boiling). Serve on toast, waffles, English muffins, etc.
