5 lb. Kieffer pears
10 c. sugar
2 (8 1/2 oz.) cans crushed pineapple

Peel pears and remove hard core. Put pears through food grinder using coarse blade. Combine fruit, sugar, and pineapple. Cook until the mixture is thick and pears are clear. Pour into hot jars and seal.
