MOTHER'S PEAR HONEY 
5 c. coarsely ground, firm unripe pears
10 c. sugar
2 c. pineapple, crushed

Peel, core, and grind pears. Combine pears, sugar, and pineapple in 5-quart pan. Cook about 30-35 mintues or until mixture is thick and pears are clear. Pour into jars and seal. Makes about 7 pints.
