HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cartons sour cream
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. cornflakes, crushed
1/4 c. butter, softened

Mix all ingredients, except last two. Place in buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle last two ingredients over top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Freezes well before cooking for later use.
