PASTRY CRUST | |
1 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. shortening 3 tbsp. cold water Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle cold water on surface; stir with fork until all ingredients are moistened. Shape into ball; chill. Roll pastry to fit the pan. |
