BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or Crisco
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Chill batter for a little while, they are better if you do. (Even overnight won't hurt.) Very good. (I mix the baking soda in the sour milk.) Bake for 10 minutes in a 450 degree oven.
