BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 c. chopped nut meats

Mix all together. Make into a roll 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Chill; slice and bake at 400 degrees.
