BUTTER-CHEESE BREAD 
1 loaf French bread
1 c. butter
1/4 c. mustard
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 chopped onion
1 lb. Swiss cheese
Bacon bits

Cut bread in thick slices. Cover each slice with butter, mustard, and poppy seed mixture. Put on large piece of foil or cookie sheet. Cover with cheese, bacon, and onion. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts. Good with barbecued meat and poultry.
