HAM AND MACARONI SALAD | |
1 1/2 c. diced cooked ham 1 c. macaroni 4 c. lettuce 1 med. cucumbers 1 sm. onion, sliced 10 oz. frozen peas 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain and chill well. In large salad bowl (about 3 quart), layer lettuce, cucumber, macaroni, ham, onion and peas. Combine mayonnaise, dill weed and salt; mix well. Spread evenly over top of salad. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Toss just before serving. Makes 6 servings. |
