30 DAY SLAW 
1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. cabbage
1 lg. green pepper
1 lg. onion
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. dry mustard

Layer cabbage, green pepper and onion. Pour 1/2 cup sugar over mixture. Let stand 15 minutes. DO NOT STIR! Pour 3/4 cup cooking oil, let stand. DO NOT STIR!

In a pan mix all other ingredients over medium heat and let come to a rolling boil. Pour over vegetables while hot. DO NOT STIR! Refrigerate for 24 hours. Keeps for 30 days.
