1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 c. cold water
6 c. milk

Combine sugar, cocoa powder, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a large saucepan. Stir in cold water and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often. Slowly stir in milk and heat almost to boiling. Remove from heat, add vanilla. With a rotary beater or mixer, beat the mixture until it is frothy. Serve in mugs or cups garnishing each with a cinnamon stick or a dollop of whipped cream. This is an unusual and delicious holiday drink.
