CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Cream sugar, Crisco and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Bake in a greased tube pan at 325 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
