1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together oatmeal in boiling water. Add sugars, butter, salt, and cocoa. Add eggs, flour, and baking soda. Pour batter into 9x13 inch greased pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Serve plain or with ice cream.
