POPCORN BALLS 
2 qt. popped corn
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. corn syrup
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Place popped corn into large baking pan. Keep warm in 200°F oven.

Prepare syrup with next 5 ingredients. Cook over medium heat until it boils. Cook without stirring until 270°F on candy thermometer. Add vanilla. Stir once to mix. Pour evenly over warm popcorn. Cool to handle.

Makes 12 balls.
