BATTER FOR FRIED VEGETABLES 
2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. oil

Mix above. Add enough water to make a medium thin batter. (Do not get too thin.) Dip vegetables and French fry in hot oil until golden brown. (Delicious with cauliflower!)
