MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 qt. popped popcorn

Cook butter, syrup, brown sugar and salt on full power for 4 minutes, stirring after 1st and 2nd minute(s). Add soda and vanilla, stirring well. Pour over popped popcorn in a brown paper sack. Stir with wooden spoon. Cook in microwave 1 1/2 minutes. Shack sack and cook 1 minute. Shake and cook 1/2 minute. Shake again and place in large container until dry. Break apart.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
