THREE LAYER STRAWBERRY (OR
RASPBERRY) DESSERT
 
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 qt. fresh strawberries or raspberries
1 lg. carton frozen whipped topping
6 oz. pkg. strawberry or raspberry jello
2 c. hot water (not boiling)
1 c. sugar

Combine pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar and butter. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes; cool.

Blend cream cheese and 1 cup sugar together with mixer. Add whipped topping and pour over pretzel mixture. Let set for 4 hours or overnight. Combine gelatin and hot water; add strawberries/raspberries and spoon over cream cheese layer. Let sit overnight.
