NEW ENGLAND BAKED BEANS | |
2 lbs. navy beans 1 qt. water 1 ham hock or 1/4 lb. bacon 1/2 tbsp. salt 1 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. molasses 1 c. ketchup 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. dry mustard 1. In 1 quart of water, boil navy beans for 1/2 hour, then soak overnight. 2. Beans must be soft before adding other ingredients. 3. Combine all ingredients and cook in crockpot for 24 hours on low or 12 hours on high. |
