SWEET AND SOUR SPARE RIBS 
1 lb. pork spare ribs (sm.)
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
2-3 tbsp. soya sauce
1/4 c. ketchup

Brown meat well, drain fat, if any. Then add all other ingredients and simmer 1 hour. Thicken sauce a little with cornstarch. Serves 4.
