"MAMA'S ROLLS" 
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
5 plus c. flour, sifted

Mix together milk, sugar, shortening and salt. Heat and scald milk (do not boil). Cool to room temperature and add yeast, (dissolved in 1/4 cup water). Add flour to yeast and milk mixture. Knead and place in large mixing bowl. Let stand 2 hours or until double in size. Knead and place in refrigerator, or use immediately. Good for a week if kept refrigerated.
