MAMA'S ROLLS 
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. warm water
6 c. flour
2 tsp. salt

Mix together first 2 ingredients. Once yeast has dissolved, add remaining ingredients. Add enough of the flour to make the dough not sticky, all 6 cups of flour may not be needed. Let rise until double in bulk.

Roll out amount of dough you want. Brush rolls with melted butter. Let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Dough will keep for several days in the refrigerator. Yield 2-3 dozen.
